Drunk drunk drunk....

March 17, 2008 / by akivibes

In Japan, we do not have Saint Patrick's Day.  So, after I came to America, I have had experience of the day.  I have just drunk a lot last year.  Anyway, I want to enjoy this day.  Therefore, I asked my American friends about that day.  Then, everybody said that they will be drinking all day long after they get up.  After that, I thought that I should drink all day long.  Let's get wasted!!

Saint Patrick's day is the anniversary of saint sage Patrick who made Christianity known to day of his obit.  In March 17, national holiday in Catholicism it, and national holiday of Ireland.  People usually wear green stuff and put green things on them such as shamrock.  Shamrock is very important in Saint Patrick's day.  Shamrock is Ireland's country's flower.  By the way, this plant is very famous in Japan too.  And, Ireland has shamrock everywhere so Ireland is often called that it is the island of emerald green.  Therefore, Saint Patrick's Day is called "the green day".

Saint Patrick's Day is celebrated in the United States mostly in New York and Boston in where there are a lot of Ireland's immigrants.  Also, each city in Australia have a lot of immigrants so on.  How about Ireland where Saint Patrick's Day was born?  There was tradition of celebrating the day since some century's ago.  Then, formally, Saint Patrick's Day had been admitted as a holiday since 1903.  After the independence from Britain, the day grew up as a national holiday.

Now, this is almost one o'clock.  I am already so drunk.  However, I think that I have to drink alcohol more hardcore.  We really need this holiday to get wasted especially like me who do not drink alcohol usually.  Anyway, I am so happy and dizzy and ....fucked up...  Therefore, I will stop writing this blog because I am hella drunk....
